To provide a security system for an entry into a room, which does not have to be connected to a network, which can save labor for updating data of a wireless IC tag reader, and which brings about the difficulty of the forgery of data necessary for collation, stored in the wireless IC tag reader.
RFID data, user data, and additional data, which are computed by function G from these data and a fixed value corresponding to a development room which a user is permitted to enter, are stored in the wireless IC tag 5. When the tag 5 is held over the wireless IC tag reader which is installed in a prescribed entrance in a building, the wireless IC tag reader computes a fixed value by function F in accordance with the RFID data, the user data and the additional data, which are read from the tag 5 (ST4); it is determined whether or not the same fixed value is present among fixed values stored in RAM (ST5); and in the presence of the same fixed value, a gate lock is unlocked (ST10).
