PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the clustering accuracy of an information file being an object to be clustered by learning similarity relation of the information files which are previously identified as being similar to each other and producing an evaluation expression. SOLUTION: The images which are previously identified as being similar to each other are inputted to a general-purpose computer (S10) and the computer repetitively presses the inputted images and acquires an optimum value about mapping in an evaluation expression to produce the evaluation expression (S20). The acquired optimum value is stored in a hard disk (S30). Thus, an image to be used as a standard pattern is given to the gesture images to be recognized in the form of a learning pattern and the relation between the images similar to each other is stored in the form of the evaluation expression. In this way, the general-purpose computer classifies the gesture images which should be recognized by the optimized evaluation expression and recognizes the gestures when inputting the gesture images.
