Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label distributing method and a label switching device utilizing the same, which are easily connected with a switching device non- corresponding to label switching and easily apply the service of the other switch. SOLUTION: When a switching device 64 non-corresponding to label switching exists between adjacent first and second label switching devices 54 and 56, the above purpose is solved by providing a stage for performing a label request while utilizing signaling processing 70 and 72 corresponding to the switching device 64 and a stage for performing label mapping while utilizing signaling processing 82 and 84 corresponding to the switching device 64.
