Abstract:
To obtain an extremely practical bactericide, capable of exhibiting good sterilizing activities on both Gram negative and Gram positive bacteria, further capable of obtaining an excellent synergistic effect, and also gentle to the environment and human bodies.
This bactericide consists of fumaric acid having the bactericidal activity against the Gram negative bacteria such as legionella bacteria, E. coli, Salmonella enteritidis, and nicin having the bactericidal activity against the Gram positive bacteria such as Staphilococcus aureus, Bacillus bacteria or lactobacilli, and the concentration of the fumaric acid is set to 0.03-0.1 % (w/v), and that of nicin is set to 1-100 ppm.
