Abstract:
In a process to spin fibres around a continual core thread, the core thread (C) feeds into a passage inlet where it meets a parallel incoming fibre (F) feed. The inlet also has spin vortex generator jets. Also claimed is a spinning assembly in which a continual thread (C) is spun into core yarn. The thread feeds through a block (4) into a passage (13) with fibre guide surfaces to the yarn feed passage (7) inlet (6c). Spinning vortex generator jets (3) are directed at the feed passage inlet (7). The thread block (4) has a guide passage (5) with a fibre release edge. The inlet (6c) converges towards the spindle (6). The fibre and thread guide (4) has a thread feed tubular element.
