To provide geological survey equipment capable of measuring a static penetration resistance of a ground in an underground layer and, at the same time, surely sampling a ground specimen.

The geological survey equipment 1 is equipped with a penetration rod 3 wherein a sampling section 2 for sampling the ground specimen is provided and a sounding testing screw point 4 put on the front end of the penetration rod 3. The sampling section 2 is equipped with a pocket for storing the ground specimen and a lid body 21 closing an opening section of the pocket, the screw point 4 is penetrated into the ground to maintain a state for the lid body 21 to close the opening section to the rotation in the direction of the forward rotation forming a hole, and the lid body 21 is so constituted that it can open the opening section by friction with the inner circumferential surface of the hole to the rotation in the direction of the reverse rotation.
