To provide an optical disk capable of accurately forming a solid visible information on a label surface by being irradiated with a laser beam and to provide an optical disk apparatus.

The optical disk apparatus is provided with: an optical pickup 10 emitting laser beams L1 and L2 and condensing the beams in a DVD 50 and having an LD transfer part 41 transferring the focal position of the laser beam L2 in the DVD 50 in an optical axis direction; and a control part 17 controlling the optical pickup 10 so that the laser beam L1 is emitted therefrom and the laser beam L2 is emitted therefrom based on slice data showing each sectional form when a solid image is sliced in a prescribed pitch in the thickness direction of the DVD 50 and controlling the LD transfer part 41 so that the focal position of the laser beam L2 is transferred in the prescribed pitch in the thickness direction of the DVD 50, when the solid image is formed in the DVD 50.
