To provide a radiography apparatus in which the image quality of a flat panel detector (FPD) is hardly affected by vibrations due to grid oscillations of a Bucky mechanism.
In the apparatus, the FPD 13 of a two-dimensional array type radiation detector is mounted on a mount part 12. Four bearings 16 for placing and guiding the grid 15 with a plate 20 are attached to an oscillating base 14. A vibration preventing material 21 is tightly placed and fixed between the mount part 12 and the oscillating base 14. The grid 15 attached to the plate 20 is oscillated to the right and left during a radiography procedure by a motor 18 through a belt 17 and pulley 19, and the scatter X ray is eliminated. The apparatus is constituted to obtain a radiograph of good quality since oscillating vibrations are absorbed by the vibration preventing material 21 and are not transmitted to the FPD 13.
