Abstract:
The bearing has a cover (2) with two arms (20,21) detachably joined to a base plate (1) by the side outer surfaces (202,212) of the arms facing contact surfaces (12,13) on the base plate. The end parts (200,210) of the arms of the bearing cover and facing the base plate are pretensioned towards the side contact surfaces of the base plate so that the side outer surfaces of the arms are pressed against the side contact surfaces. The end parts have holders (211a) for fixing a separate tensioning piece (3). The base plate has side guide surfaces (10,11). An Independent claim is included for a method of mounting a bearing.
