To provide a shared information management method, a mobile communication terminal and a shared information management system that can continuously and reliably manage shared information even if a fault occurs in one of a plurality of information devices, and can store the master of shared information in an arbitrary information device and mange the shared information.
For every management target unit of shared information (mail information), a master with all data on shared information is stored in any one of a plurality of information devices (a portable telephone 60, a personal computer 61 and a mail server 51), and a replica of shared information into which the master of shared information is at least partly replicated is stored in at least one of the other information devices. When one replica of shared information is switched to a master, the original master of shared information is switched to a replica.
