Abstract:

To provide a calcium silicate hydrate-based humidity control material which has high moisture absorption and desorption characteristics, ion adsorption and exchange abilities and the like by enhancing the reactivity of a natural pozzolan material having wide dispersion on its composition and which serves comfortable and safe living environment with little environmental load and to provide its manufacturing method.

The reactivity of zeolite tuff being pulverized to a mean particle diameter of 10 μm or less with a calcium ion is enhanced by mechanochemical effect. A calcium silicate hydrate hardened body where pores having a mean pore radius of 10 nm or less are formed by a hydrothermal reaction at 180°C or lower and which has superior crystallinity is dried or baked at 400°C or lower and then a porous body is obtained.
