Abstract:
The clamping device (1) is designed as a hollow shaft (2) located inside the operating spindle (5) and working with an axially movable clamping head (3) acting on the claws (6), provided with inclined contact surfaces (13) and a gripping device (8) with holding elements (9) positioned parallel to the claws (6). An axially positioned contact surface (11) located below the rounded upper ends of each of the holding elements (9) serves as a combined centering aid and clamping surface.
