Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch structure, having superior visibility of a switch provided on an interior member for a vehicle, and capable of obtaining satisfactory handling feeling. SOLUTION: The switch structure comprises a pressing switch 18 provided on a base 12 of the interior member 10 for a vehicle, and a switch board 38 which is arranged in an opening 26, provided on a skin 14 and is positioned directly above the switch, where the switch is operated by pressing the switch board. The structure also comprises a cushioning part 44, provided on the base and positioned directly below the switch board for allowing flexure of a stroke amount for activating the switch; a pressing force for transmitting member 50 which is supported in a piercing hole 48 provided on the cushioning part and is interposed between the switch board and the pressing switch; and a light-transmitting part 52 which is provided on the switch board and points to one opening end of the pressing force transmitting member. By forming the pressing force transmitting member from a light-transmitting material, a light from a light source 36 on the switch side can be irradiated forward the outside via the transmitting member and the light-transmitting part 52.
