Abstract:
The device has a page-turning roller (3) for a passport, a turning unit with drive for the roller, a transporter with roller for the passport, a fixed transport guide, and a moveable transport guide, which can be opened and closed in such a way to permit a turning movement of e.g. a flap etc. The roller drive also drives the flap, so that its movement is coupled to that of the turning roller. A flap unit has a flap (2a) opened with forward turning movement of the roller, and a flap (2b) closed with backward turning of the roller.
