To provide a vehicular control device having a plurality of control units connected to a transmission line mounted on a vehicle which receives specification information output to the transmission line by each control unit and reliably changes the specification by determining the control specification thereof.

Each control unit comprises an output unit 9f to output its own specification information to a transmission line 1 at a predetermined period, a reception unit 9a to receive its own specification information output by each control unit, a vehicle specification determination unit 9d which compares its own specification information received by the reception unit 9a predetermined times with the pre-stored vehicle specification information and determines the vehicle specification, and a control content setting means 9c to set the control content of a working equipment mounted on the vehicle according to the vehicle specification determined by the vehicle specification determination unit 9d.
