To provide a stacked battery having an excellent battery characteristic, in relation to a stacked battery with a cooling tab mounted to at least one unit cell, in a stacked battery composed by stacking a plurality of unit cells by serially connecting them.
This stacked battery is composed by stacking the plurality of unit cells by serially connecting them. The stacked battery is so structured that the cooling tabs are attached to a plurality of collectors; heat radiation effect of the cooling tab installed at the center position in the thickness direction in stacking the collectors is the largest; and the heat radiation effect of the tabs is gradually reduced toward both end sides in the thickness direction. Each tab may function as a shared voltage detecting tab, whereby variation of voltage due to heat storage can be restrained by installation of the cooling tabs, the battery characteristic can be improved, and the battery service life can be extended.
