To provide a material for a coating for obtaining a curing type aqueous soft feeling coating without requiring undercoating or baking under a high temperature for a long time, without reducing productivity, and the curing type aqueous soft feeling coating by using such the material.
This material for curing type aqueous soft feeling coating comprising a hydrophilic polyrotaxane having a ring molecule, a straight chain molecule forming an inclusion state of the ring molecule as a skewing state and blocking groups arranged at both terminals of the straight chain molecule and preventing the elimination of the ring molecule, wherein, at least one of the straight chain molecule and ring molecule has a hydrophilic modifying group, is blended suitably by 30-80 mass% based on coated film-forming components to make the curing type aqueous soft feeling coating.
