Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging apparatus not provided with a shade function can eliminate a fixed pattern noise from an imaging signal of a solid- state imaging device. SOLUTION: In manufacturing the solid-state imaging apparatus, using a shade tool 28 outputs dark state data from the solid-state imaging device 22. The dark state data are outputted to a CPU 26 in the solid-state imaging apparatus, the CPU 26 detects a fixed pattern noise of the solid-state imaging device 22 from the dark state data. The detected fixed pattern noise is compressed and the compressed noise is stored in a nonvolatile memory 27. In actually using the solid-state imaging apparatus, a memory 26 in an image processing circuit stores the fixed pattern noise from the nonvolatile memory 27 and the fixed pattern noise read from the memory 26 is added to/subtracted from the imaging signal outputted from the solid-state imaging device 22. Thus, the fixed pattern noise is eliminated from the imaging signal.
