Abstract:
A wireless tag and a wireless tag reader/writer wherein information can be written only into a target wireless tag without fail. There are included a first antenna (66) for writing information into a memory circuit (80) in a noncontact manner by use of a first frequency; and a second antenna (68) for reading information from the memory circuit (80) in a noncontact manner by use of a second frequency. The different frequencies are used for writing and reading information to and from a wireless tag circuit (24a), thereby excellently preventing the occurrence of erroneous communication with a tag tape (26) that is accommodated, for example, in a cartridge (28) of a wireless tag reader/writer (12) and that has not been disconnected yet or with the wireless tag circuit (24a) or the like in which the writing has already been completed.
