Abstract:
An address setting method, etc. are provided for making it possible to carry out IP communication among air conditioners connected with different networks. An address setting method to set addresses to a plurality of air conditioners that are connected with a plurality of networks (NW1, NW2) sectioned by routers (91, 92) and have inherent ID codes is provided with steps in which the routers (91, 92) grant IP addresses to the plurality of air conditioners, respectively; each air conditioner accesses a server (70) and transmits equipment information on its ID code and IP address corresponding to each other through the routers (91, 92); the server (70) puts together the respective equipment information transmitted from the plurality of air conditioners to make out an information table; the server (70) transmits the information table to the plurality of the air conditioners through the routers (91, 92), respectively; and each of the plurality of the air conditioners stores the information table.
