To provide a service providing system for collecting a charge from a customer when providing information for a commodity, and performing a processing for purchase of the commodity or the like based on the charge.

This system comprises a link information reading means for reading link information from a printing medium showing summary information for the commodity and an identification number showing the link to detailed information of the commodity; a detailed information acquisition means for acquiring detailed information for the commodity based on the read link information; a commodity information providing means for image-forming the acquired detailed information on a printing medium; and a charge collection means for collecting the charge at the time of the image formation of the information. The processing for the commodity is performed based on the amount of the collected charge.
