To provide an authentication apparatus capable of carrying out anonymous authentication with simple configuration.

A user terminal is provided with a means that generates a random number a, calculates a value b satisfying a prescribed conditional equation including a user identification number A given in advance, generates a random number r, uses a value g given in advance, calculates three values gr, gar, gbr, transmits the values to a server, receives a validity evaluation result of four values (gr, gqr, gbr, grA) resulting from adding the grAcalculated from the grand A to the three values from the server, generates a new random number m when the validity is admitted, calculates two values grm, grn, transmits them to the server and receives a generated service use right. The service providing server is provided with a means that evaluates the validity of the four values (gr, gqr, gbr, grA) obtained from the user identification number A and the three values gr, gar, gbrtransmitted from the user terminal, provides a blind signature and generates the service use right.
