Abstract:
To provide a voice coding method of multichannel voice signals which allows a reproduction side to perform normal reproduction even when the multichannel voice signals are selectively transmitted in a compression mode or a non-compression mode, or even when the down mix on the reproduction side is selectively permitted or inhibited.
An ATSI comprises the first discriminator that exhibits whether a multichannel data in an audio packet is compressed or not and the second discriminator that exhibits whether the down mix of the multichannel data to stereo 2-channel is permitted or inhibited.
