Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a baked material having a high density, a low water absorption ratio and high strength in an artificial aggregate prepared by baking and forming fly ash. SOLUTION: This baked material from classified fine granular fly ash is obtained by classifying fly ash collected by an electric dust collector at a coal- fired power plant as it is in a certain particle diameter between 10-25 μm without grinding the fly ash, extracting fine granules having diameters equal to or smaller than these particle diameters, sintering the classified fine granular component or further grinding and forming the baked material into a fixed particle size.
