Abstract:
An elevator safety system has a first pattern for detecting over speed set with a margin so as not to be lower than a normal speed reduction pattern of an elevator box (11) toward an end floor stop position, a second pattern set with a margin not to be lower than the speed reduction pattern by a traction machine (13) when the normal speed reduction is impossible, a third pattern set with a martin so as not to be lower than the first pattern, and a fourth patter set with a margin not to be lower than the second pattern. When the box speed V exceeds both of the first pattern and the second pattern, a brake is operated. When the box speed V exceeds the third and the fourth pattern, an emergency stop (14) is operated. Thus, it is possible to provide an elevator safety system having a preferable operation efficiency without operating the brake when not necessary.
