To provide a manufacturing method of a foamed molded product excellent in appearance characteristics and having a structure suitable for a molded product having a joining plane.
In the manufacturing method of the foamed molded product 1 having joining planes 15 and characterized in that the expansion ratio of a general part 11 being the part adjacent to a joining plane forming part 12 is higher than that of the joining plane forming part 12 being the part of a region on which the joining planes 15 are projected almost vertically, a mold, which has a movable mold relatively advancing and retreating with respect to a fixed mold and is constituted so as to oppose the movable mold having a cavity to the general part 11 by arranging the movable mold so as to hold the same between the flat cavity surfaces for forming the joining planes 15, is used. A heat insulating structure for reducing the conduction of heat between the movable mold and the mold part adjacent thereto is provided between the movable mold and the mold part adjacent thereto. A synthetic resin material is injected in the cavity in a state that the movable mold is held to a temperature higher than that of another part and the movable mold is subsequently allowed to retreat to increase the volume of the general part 11 to urge foaming.
