Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode plate manufacturing method and an electrode plate capable of accurately and efficiently forming an active material layer having a desired pattern on the surface of a current collector and a non-painted part. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method involves a process 1A where a pre-coat agent made of material capable of enhancing the cohesion of an active material layer 7 is applied to a part 7 on a current collector 2 where a non-coated part is desired, to form a pre-coat layer 3, a process 1B where after the formation of the pre-coat layer 3, coating liquid for the active material layer 7 containing at least an active material and a binding agent is applied to the surface of the current collector 2 at the formation side of the pre-coat 3 to form an active material layer 4, a process 1C for migrating and infiltrating the pre-coat agent forming the pre-coat layer 3 into the active material layer 4; and processes 1D and 1E for peeling off an active material layer 5 on a part 7 for forming non-coated part after the migration and infiltration. According to this method, an electrode plate for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is manufactured comprising the active material layer 4 containing at least an active material and a binding agent, and a non-coated part 7 without an active material layer on the current collector 2.
