Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawing file generation method and a medium for storing a program therefor that are of a type usable in a CAD system with an image data attachment function on drawing data where raster data and vector data are mixed. SOLUTION: A file generating part 22 reads out a raster-vector(RV) integrated file from a raster-vector integrated file database (RVIDB) and inputs it into a file analyzing part 41. The file analyzing part 41 properly separates a raster data component and a vector data component in the RV integrated file according to file information on the RV integrated file. It is next input into a file information editing part 42. If a given input signal is present from an inputting part, the file information editing part 42, according to the input signal, executes an attachment command 43 for writing raster data file information in the RV integrated file into vector data file information, to thereby execute special processing for adding the raster data file information to vector data.
