Abstract:
The invention relates to a flexible rear axle (10) provided with longitudinal arms (12) and a cross member (24) for a motor vehicle, comprising an arm forming a control column (26) extending transversally in relation to the cross member (24) and linked to the center part thereof by a substantially vertical (28) axis of articulation; a linking element (50) linking one end (30) of the control column directed toward the front of the vehicle, i.e. at the end (18) of a longitudinal arm (12) close to the articulation thereof with respect to the bodywork of the vehicle, or the bodywork of the vehicle (20) with respect to articulation of the longitudinal arm on the bodywork, substantially parallel to the cross element (24); two connecting rods (34) both connecting another end (32) of the control column, directed towards the rear of the vehicle,to a wheel support (16).
