To extract observations and a location from a diagnostic reading report written by a free format.
Sentence structure of respective sentences included in the diagnostic reading report is analyzed by a syntax analysis means 2b. Sentences including designated wordings showing objective facts in a predicate are selected by an observation determining means 2c as observation sentences. The wordings showing an object of the predicate are extracted, and they are determined by the observation determining means 2c as observation sentences. The wordings showing a location of the object of the observation sentences are extracted by a part determining means 2d, and they are determined as an observation target part. Accordingly, results showed by the observation determined by the observation determining means 2c to the observation object part determined with the part determining means 2d are outputted.
