Abstract:
An air filter formed by disposing two or more sheets of net-like objects stored in a filter frame at least on the downstream side of a filter pack, wherein at least one end parts of the net-like objects are bent to form two or more ribs, reinforced plates are installed along the ribs, and the air filter is fixed to the filter frame with the rear faces of the ribs abutted against each other. Since the strength of the net-like objects is remarkably increased and the filtration area of the net-like objects is increased by an increase in size of the air filter, the filter pack increased in weight can be effectively prevented from being deformed to the downstream side and a filter medium from being damaged.
