Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent contamination of water quality of a closed water area in a harbor. SOLUTION: In this water area cleaning system, a water stream control body 5 is installed along a boundary line between an inner water area 2 and an outer water area 3. The water stream control body 5 is constituted of a concrete hollow body 6, and the standing communication between the inner water area 2 and the outer water area 3 is secured through a base layer with the depth H2 from the bottom of the concrete-made hollow body 6 to the sea bottom. On the other hand, plate-like check valves 11 are arranged so as to close openings 9 formed at the outer water area side of the concrete made- hollow body 6, and a flow from the inner water area 2 to the outer water area 3 is approved but the flow in the opposite direction is prevented.
