Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester laminate for covering the surface of a metal panel suitable for a metal can for a beverage, excellent in retort resistance, heat resistance, impact resistance, molding processability and flavor properties and manufactured by molding processing. SOLUTION: The polyester laminate for covering the surface of the metal panel is constituted of a base material layer (I) comprising polyester based on ethylene terephthalate and an adhesive layer (II) consisting of 30-90 wt.% of polyester (A) based on ethylene terephthalate and 70-10 wt.% of copolyester (B) based on butrylene terephthalate and containing 3-8 mol% of an alicyclic dimer acid component and/or an aromatic dimer acid component as a constituent unit.
