Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic solvent-based coating material composition capable of forming hardened paint film excellent in antifoulancy enabling contaminant to easily be removed even if it has stuck to the paint film and also excellent in weather resistance, and to provide a method for forming multilayer paint film using the same composition. SOLUTION: This organic solvent-based coating material composition comprises (A) a colloidal dispersoid obtained by reacting (A-1) a resin having an alkoxysilyl group and hydroxyl group in its one molecule with (A-2) colloidal fine grains of inorganic oxide and (B) a polyisocyanate compound which may be a blocked polyisocyanate. When forming multilayer paint film by alternately applying at least one kind of color pigmented paints and at least one kind of clear paints to an coating object, this method for forming multilayer paint film comprises using the organic solvent-based coating material composition as a clear paint to be applied to the top layer.
