To provide an efficient contaminated soil cleaning method and a contaminated soil cleaning plant where environmental influence exerted on the outside is suppressed to a minimum, and contaminated soil is cleaned in situ.
In the soil cleaning method, an in situ type soil cleaning plant is installed in a zone where soil is contaminated, the contaminated zone is managed in sections, and the cleaning of the contaminated soil and the backfilling of the cleaned soil are continuously performed per section. The contaminated soil zone is divided into a plurality of sections, then, the contaminated soil in the section where the cleaning plant is first installed is moved to an adjoining section, and the cleaning plant is installed therein. The contaminated soil is cleaned in order per section, and the other adjoining section within the in situ zone is successively backfilled. Since all the contaminated soil is subjected to continuous cleaning treatment in situ, short term cleaning treatment and the suppression of the environmental influence on the outside are made possible, and further, excellent economical efficiency is realized.
