Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent swelling of a battery by restraining the generation of cracked gas by containing silicone oil and a fluorine nonionic surfactant composed of fluoropolyoxyethylene ether in a nonaqueous electrolyte containing a nonaqueous solvent and a lithium compound as an electrolyte. SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte for a secondary battery contains a nonaqueous solvent (such as ethylene carbonate and diethyl carbonate) and a lithium compound (such as LiPF6) as an electrolyte. Silicone oil represented by formula I (R represents an alkyl group such as a methyl group and an ethyl group, and may be identical or different, and (n)=0 to 1,000) is contained by the concentration of 0.002 to 2 wt.% in this nonaqueous electrolyte, and a fluorine nonionic surfactant composed of fluoropolyoxyethylene ether expressed by formula II (Z=3 to 20) is also contained, so as to turn the concentration to 0.001 to 0.1 wt.%, to thereby improve charging/discharging characteristic and impedance characteristic.
