Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image pickup device with which the surface of a lens barrier and that of a body are made flush with each other when the lens barrier is at a closing position. SOLUTION: A follower 74 is provided at a movable frame 64, and the movable frame 64 is supported by the follower 74. The follower 74 is engaged with guide parts 70A and 72A so that the lens barrier 38 is made movable along the guide parts 70A and 72A. On the other hand, a toggle mechanism 98 is constituted of a link 96 and an arm 80 turning around a fixed shaft 62. Thus, the follower 74 is guided by the guide parts 70A and 72A, and also the lens barrier 38 integrated with the movable frame 64 is pushed up by erecting the inclined link 96 so that the lens barrier 38 and a surface housing 10A are made flush with each other in terms of the surface. Thus, a difference in levels is not caused between the lens barrier 38 and the surface housing 10A so that the stagnation of dust is eliminated.
