Abstract:
The method for the detecting of contaminants on the blades of a turbine (3) entails determining at least one actual vibration characteristic value of at least one turbine component such as a blade. The vibration characteristic value is determined during the running of the turbine or when the turbine is at rest. The vibration characteristic value is compared to a reference value. At least one common vibration characteristic value is determined for a number of comparably operated turbine components. An independent claim is included for a device (1) for the detecting of contaminants on the blades of a turbine including a sensing unit (7) to determine at least one actual vibration characteristic value of at least one turbine component.
