Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clinical thermometer that fits to a small lughole of infant and measures body temperature quickly and exactly, and the cover of which is changed easily to keep always clean. SOLUTION: A clinical thermometer is provided with a probe section 12 covering a wave guide 13 that guides infrared ray into the thermometer body and around the wave guide 13 located at a base end part around covering members together with these covering members 16, 17, a positioning member 8 that is larger than covering member in outer size, wherein the periphery face of the internal covering member 16 adhered to the periphery of wave guide 13 being taper shaped with larger diameter at base end side, an outer covering member being a cap shaped with closed top end, and the cap cylindrical part of the outer covering member 17 being wedged between the periphery of the probe sub-cover and internal periphery of the opening of the positioning member 16.
