To provide a filter cleaning device which cleans a filter in a state of keeping it inside of a machine, and surely removes dust on the filter.
This filter cleaning device for cleaning the filter, has: a filter moving portion for reciprocating the filter along a circular arc-shaped moving route in a housing; a dust removing portion kept into contact with the filter and removing the dust captured by the filter; and a dust recovering portion for recovering the dust removed by the dust removing portion. The filter moving portion has a filter pressing mechanism kept into contact with an outer face of the filter, and a contact face of the filter pressing mechanism kept into contact with the filter is charateristically a flat surface.
