Abstract:
To make a cooling medium satisfactorily and uniformly flow along a reaction surface with an economical configuration.
In power generating cells 10, an electrolyte film/electrode structure 14 are sandwiched by first and second metal separators 16, 18. A third metal separator 20 is arranged between the adjoining power generating cells 10. A linear cooling-medium inlet passage groove 44a and a linear cooling-medium outlet passage groove 46a communicated with a cooling-medium inlet communication hole 26a and a cooling-medium outlet communication hole 26b respectively and independent each other are provided on a surface 20a of the third metal separator 20.
