Abstract:

To prevent degradation by properly controlling charging of a storage device leading to an electric chemical reaction and by restraining generation of a side reaction.

An inner resistance RI and a negative electrode inner resistance ratio KRM are calculated by an inner resistance calculating portion M1 and a negative electrode inner resistance ratio calculating portion M2 based on respective cell temperatures TB. A negative electrode potential calculating portion M3 and a positive electrode potential calculating portion M4 calculate a negative electrode potential VM and a positive electrode potential VP based on the respective remaining capacities SOC. Besides, either a smaller value of a negative electrode allowable current IMLMT or a positive electrode allowable current IPLMT when compared by a comparison portion M11 is set as the maximum current at the time of charging calculated based on the inner resistance RI and the negative electrode inner resistance ratio KRM, the negative electrode potential VM, and the positive electrode potential VP to output as minimum current IMIN coded and reversed by a reversing device M12. Moreover, the charging is properly controlled by controlling the charging of the storage device based on the maximum value of current charged by a charging control part M13, thus restraining generation of the side reaction and preventing degradation.
