To provide a fuel cell cogeneration system enhancing total efficiency by keeping an operation state with high power generation efficiency and high exhaust heat recovering efficiency even if the total demand power amount is varied.
When the fuel cell cogeneration system 1 is introduced into an apartment house constituted with a plurality if dwelling houses 11A-11E, a fuel cell 20, a hot water storage tank 13, and an inverter 2 are installed to the apartment house constituted with the dwelling houses 11A-11E. A power line network 3 is distributed to the dwelling houses 11A-11E of the apartment house. Five power generation modules 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 are sequentially operated with a control device 5 in the fuel cell 20. The inverter 2 links power loads 16A-16W to the fuel cell 20 and an electric power system 4 through the the power line network 3.
