Abstract:
To provide a common mode choke coil having an extended resonance frequency and can be used in high frequency region.
The common mode choke coil, i.e. a coil component 1, comprises a drum type magnetic core 2. Two wires 6 and 7 are wound around the core portion 3 of the magnetic core 2. These wires 6 and 7 are coated wires produced by coating conductors, e.g. copper wires, with mixed resin containing an insulating material, i.e. silicon modified epoxy resin. In the mixed resin, thermosetting resin is a compound resin of epoxy resin and silicon resin and contains silicon modified epoxy resin. Silicon modification rate of epoxy resin is 5-30%. Dielectric constant is 2.0-3.0.
