Abstract:
An oscillation apparatus includes an oscillation mechanism (41-50, 64-69) for reciprocating an oscillating roller (25e) which can be rotated in the circumferential direction and can be reciprocated along the axial direction; an oscillation-width adjustment mechanism (41, 44, 54-61) for adjusting the oscillation width of the oscillating roller (25e); an oscillation-mechanism drive motor (70) for operating the oscillation mechanism (41-50, 64-69); an oscillation-width adjustment motor (52) for operating the oscillation-width adjustment mechanism (41, 44, 54-61); oscillation-width controller (80) for controlling operation of the oscillation-width adjustment motor (52) such that the oscillation width of the oscillating roller (25e) attains a designated value; and oscillation-number controller (90) for controlling operation of the oscillation-mechanism drive motor (70), on the basis of the number of revolutions of the plate cylinder (23a, 23b), such that the number of oscillations of the oscillating roller per unit number of revolutions of the plate cylinder attains a designated value.
