Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to economically and efficiently remove a heavy metal component by an easy method at a low cost from a highly concentrated salt solution containing sodium chloride, calcium salts and magnesium salts used in bittern industry in high concentration. SOLUTION: The highly concentrated salt solution is brought into contact with an adsorbent consisting of activated carbon, bone char or both of these so as to adsorb the heavy metal component in the highly concentrated salt solution to the adsorbent to remove it.
