Abstract:
To prepare an energy ray-curable oil-in-water drop type emulsion which can be diluted with water and coated without using an organic solvent affecting human bodies and environments, has good coatability to plastic substrates, and gives cured coating films having good adhesiveness, hardness and scratch resistance.
The energy ray-curable oil-in-water drop type emulsion comprises (A) a compound having at least three acryloyl groups in the molecule, (B) a hydrophilic resin in which ethylene oxide groups are occupied in an amount of ≥70 mass % based on the total mass, and (C) a dialkyl sulfosuccinate. A hard coating agent comprises the energy ray-curable oil-in-water drop type emulsion.
