To achieve effective delivery management with less mistakes, allowing a customer to make an estimate easily by himself or herself with a reduced workload to shorten a term from an estimate to delivery, and meeting various customer needs such as special orders and urgent orders.
An estimate/order means, provided in an order receiving side host computer acting as an online placing/receiving order processing apparatus, includes a normal-article delivery-term calculation processing function for calculating a delivery term of a normal article based on data on in-stock articles, and a substitute delivery-term calculation processing function for calculating a delivery term of a substitute referring to substitute information added to the data on in-stock articles. Estimate data, which the estimate/order means takes out of a file storage device to send to a terminal responding to an inquiry from the terminal, includes the estimate data that were made when the customer himself or herself ordered previously, and the estimate data that are made for other customers associated with the business field of the customer.
