To provide an information processor and a route processing method, capable of participating in carbon offset, without executing complicated processing by a user desiring the carbon offset, in an individual person level using a transportation facility.
This information processor/route processing method calculates an emission amount discharged when using routes, in every route, calculates an emission quota purchasing money amount required for depreciating the calculated emission amount, stores a route search result including the route, the emission amount and the emission quota purchasing money amount, as history information, transmits those to an information processing terminal, depreciates an emission amount portion corresponding to the emission quota purchasing money amount of an emission quota purchasing request received from the information processing terminal, from an emission quota amount stored in a storage part, stores a depreciation result including the depreciated emission amount and the emission quota purchasing money amount corresponding to the emission amount, as history information, totalizes the depreciation results based on the history information, and transmits the totalized depreciation result to the information processing terminal to be displayed.
