To provide a channel selection information communication apparatus capable of more accurately collecting view information, even when there is eccentricity in a view channel, while suppressing waste of facility layout.
The present invention includes: a first transport means for transporting a broadcast signal from a network connected to a broadcast server to a terminal; a time generating means for generating a first time from specific information that the relevant apparatus has; a second transport means for transporting reception stop information instructing reception stop of a broadcast signal selected by the terminal from the terminal to the network; and a transmission means for transmitting the reception stop information to a view information receiving server. The transmission means starts measuring the time after it is detected that the second transport means stops transporting a first broadcast signal, and transmits first reception stop information after the lapse of the first time from the start.
